Why Healing Matters
Healing is an art. It's an artistic practice that we must consistently do if we desire long-term results. As a life coach and a spiritual healer I experienced it first hand.
Having been on my own healing journey for almost 4 years now, every time I reflect on this particular experience I'm still surprised at how far back I went into time while being able to also move further forward into the present toward the future.
When I started my journey never did I want to look back on my struggles and situations. It was a place I never wanted to go back to. Regardless, I did. I had to.
I needed to understand my past in order to know where I'm headed. In order to know what kind of healing work needs to be done.
My struggles weren't just mine alone. It was also a reflection of unhealed trauma and unnecessary baggage of many generations.
There was a cycle I needed to break - ancestors that needed to be healed and trauma that needed to be laid to rest.
There were connections needed to be made and wisdom needed to be learnt.
As a life coach I see that healing has its own ripple effect that we don't know about. It's invisible. But, once we start healing ourselves we will start noticing that effect in motion.
Our generation has come a long way from where our ancestors used to stand. From where our parents know.
Some of us realized that we are a legacy in writing and an ancestor in the making. We call into our power and stand our ground. We see the changes that need to be made and we're willing to face it head on.
For some, we're stuck. We're torn because the current of this wave that we're on is hitting us harder than we expected. Our power got tested. We got tested. But, we must remember that not everyone is ready for changes.
We can't force those who aren't willing to grow to change themselves.
Every road block we run into is meant to strengthen us, strengthen our mentality. We must learn to stand our ground. To be our own healer. To first be the change we want to be.
For others, we fear. We stayed on the easy route not because we fear our own power but because we fear the unknown, we fear those around us. Most importantly we fear the past. But the truth is the past is bygone and nothing in life can hurt us unless we allow it to. We must accept and acknowledge that experience and trust that it can help us get to a better place in life. We must embrace the journey. We were meant to experience certain things in life because there's a lesson we must learn from.
As a spiritual healer my experiences taught me why healing is a necessary practice, dead or alive. For those with unfinished business they're stuck here on the physical plane of existence with us, where time is an illusion and where we're unconsciously conscious. For those that left healed and happy once they crossed over - more than likely they can become our ancestral healing guide if chosen to.
