Late Bloomer

Divine TIming

Pace of Life

Growing up in an environment where I was told every single day that life is a competition, every time I failed to make my parents happy I would get compared to others. Then whenever I tried to do something different I would get discouraged.

Growing up I was told if I don't compete for the same success as others the least I could be is a stripper.

Growing up I was told to always be self conscious about everything little thing I do and say because once I become the talk of town it'll ruin my parents name.

Growing up I was told I should be able to do this and that because I'm no longer a child yet I was treated like one every single day.

Growing up I thought I was a late bloomer. I thought that if I keep trying to please those around me I would make them happy. One day I'll reach their definition of success.

I was wrong. I am not a late bloomer. I grow and bloom at my own time in my own space. I needed to embrace my flaws and find my own definition of success because my dreams are different from theirs. My visions are different from theirs.

Is there such a thing as a 'late bloomer'?

A late bloomer is defined as a person whose talents or capabilities are not visible to others until later than usual.

As a life coach and spiritual healer I say there's no such thing.

Being a "late bloomer" only exists if we allow ourselves to be compared to others. It only exists if we walk on the same path and at the same pace as others.

We are not late bloomers. We are uniquely different from each other. We grow, learn, and process things at our pace. We have our own dreams. We experience things differently and only when we're ready for it.

There is Never a deadline to everything we do and experience in life. Time is an illusion.
