When life takes an unexpected turn, understand that it isn't meant to hinder your growth but to give you a push towards the right direction. Yes, you'll be drained emotionally and hurt mentally but get back up and keep going. Yes, there will be days, nights, weeks, or months where you'll cry continuously but no matter what keep wiping those tears dry and trust that those tears have washed away all that has blinded and blocked you.
There will be days when it feels like heaven has turned a blind eye on you, regardless, stay true to who you are, stay grounded in your purpose, keep your head high, and keep walking. This world is your runway.
People will see and they will talk. There will be those who will encourage you and those that discourage you. There will be those who like you and those who dislike you. Nonetheless, be kind anyway and be kind to yourself. In this journey of yours, their role isn't as important as yours because this is your journey. You are the main lead of your journey which means you matter. Your opinions matter for you are in charge of your every thoughts, words, and actions.
Never lose sight of who you are just because the opinions of others happen to consume your mind for a period of time. Remember that they have no control over you for they don't know what you've been through.
During times of hardships please know that you are not alone and that help is available if you take the courage to seek it.
Wherever you are in your healing journey may you find the strength to keep going and find the light to accompany you and keep you warm during those gloomy days.
